- 11. LIGHTENING• If the hair is long (shoulder-length), we advise using two ESTEL WHITE BALANCE sets for first-time lightening. In this case, first mix and use up completely the mixture prepared from the contents of "1. Lightening" in the first set, then quickly move on to the contents of "1. Lightening" in the second set.• If the hair is weak or damaged, using a lightener is not recommended.• If the hair has been permed, wait two weeks before lightening. Do not perm hair immediately after lightening; wait at least two weeks.• If the hair has been colored with henna, do not use the lightener, as the lightening result may be unpredictable.• Do not apply the mixture to previously lightened hair.• Always mix and apply only a freshly prepared mixture. Discard any unused mixture; it is not suitable for reuse.• It is not recommended to wash the hair before using the lightener. • The presence of styling products on the hair does not prevent lightening. • Do not cover the hair with anything while the mixture is working and do not expose the hair to heat.• Do not twist the hair into a ponytail until the lightening process is complete.! The maximum processing time of the lightener is 30 minutes from the start of application.PREPARING THE MIXTURE1. Put on gloves.2. In a bowl, mix the lightening powderand the oxygent until smooth3. Drape a towel over the shoulders. The prepared mixture must be used immediately.APPLICATION TO REGROWN ROOTSThis type of application is suitable for you if you have regrown roots after previous lightening1. Comb the hair2. Apply the lightener only to the regrown areas of hair, dividing them into partings and trying to avoid contact with the scalp.APPLICATION FOR FIRST-TIME LIGHTENING:This type of application is suitable for you if you are lightening your hair for the first time.1. Comb the hair2. Quickly and evenly apply the lightener to dry hair, starting from the roots and trying to avoid contact with the scalp.APPLICATION WHEN COLORING HAIR WITH LIGHTENING TECHNIQUES:This type of application is suitable for you if you are lightening individual strands of hair for the first time.1. Comb the hair. Select individual strands using a highlighting cap or a comb and foil2. Apply the lightener to the selected strands, avoiding contact with the scalp.PROCESSING TIMETo determine the exact processing time you personally need, 10 minutes after applying the lightener separate a thin strand and remove the lightener from it with a paper towel. If the lightening effect has been achieved, rinse the lightener out of the hair. To achieve a stronger lightening effect, cover the test strand again with the mixture from neighboring strands and increase the processing time. In any case, the maximum processing time of the lightener is 30 minutes from the start of application.FINAL TREATMENTIf you used a highlighting cap or foil, remove it. After the processing time has elapsed, wash the hair thoroughly several times with shampoo
